Documenting my daily thrills of my R6.
I'm all set for the riding season. Cycle Specialties of Fairfield just
finished installing my new oil pan, front tire, and performing a coolant
flush. I'm expecting good weather tomorrow, so I will be picking the bike
up tomorrow and going for a ride.
Today, I rented a U-Haul pickup truck and motorcycle trailer so that
I could drop off my bike at Cycle Specialties
to get my new oil pan installed, new front tire installed, and have a
coolant flush done.
After waiting for over one month, my CRG levers arrived. The levers were on
backorder because the owner was sick. Anyhow, it was well worth the wait
because the levers look really good!
I ordered the CRG Levers from SportbikeTrackGear.
It's where I've ordered all of my accessories for my bike.
Finally!!!! My OEM oil pan and gasket arrived! Now I have to decide if I want to
install it myself. This will be my first time doing this if I do.
Still no luck find a tow truck to get my bike towed to the dearlership. This is
ridiculous. It sounds like I will have to follow through with my plan and go to
U-haul and rent a truck and trailer.
Today, I purchased a front stand for my motorcycle. I plan to put it to good use, too.
I'm really struggling to find a tow truck to transport my bike to the dealership.
Who would have ever thought it would have been this hard to locate a towing service
for motorcycles. I'm really thinking about going to U-Haul and renting a truck and
trailer. I would like to get this done sooner than later, as it's winter, and now
is the perfect time to get any maintenance or repairs done.
